1. Overview

At IIWD, we are committed to providing high-quality education and ensuring student satisfaction. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent while maintaining the sustainability of our educational services across all branches.

This refund policy applies uniformly to all IIWD branches and courses. The policy is designed to protect both students and the institute while ensuring quality education delivery.

2. Refund Eligibility Criteria

Refunds are processed based on the following criteria and timelines:

3. Non-Refundable Components

The following components are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Registration Fee: One-time registration charge
  • Study Materials: Cost of books and study materials issued
  • Administrative Charges: Processing and administrative fees
  • Taxes: GST and other applicable taxes
  • Exam Fees: Certification and examination fees

4. Special Circumstances

In exceptional cases, refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Medical Emergencies: With valid medical certificate
  • Relocation: Transfer to another city with proof
  • Course Cancellation: If IIWD cancels the course
  • Technical Issues: Persistent technical problems in online courses

Note: Special circumstance refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and require proper documentation.

5. Refund Process

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Submit a written refund application at your branch
  • Step 2: Provide original fee receipt and ID proof
  • Step 3: Complete the refund request form
  • Step 4: Submit required supporting documents
  • Step 5: Await verification and approval

Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 15-30 working days from the date of application approval. The refund amount will be credited to the original payment method used during admission.

6. Course Transfer Policy

Instead of refund, students can opt for course transfer in the following scenarios:

  • Batch Transfer: Move to different batch timing
  • Course Change: Switch to different course (fee difference applicable)
  • Mode Change: Shift from offline to online or vice versa
  • Branch Transfer: Transfer to another IIWD branch

Note: Course transfers are subject to seat availability and may involve administrative charges.

7. Online Course Refund Policy

Special considerations for online courses:

  • 7-Day Trial: Full refund within 7 days if no classes attended
  • Technical Compatibility: Refund if system requirements not met
  • Content Access: Partial refund based on content accessed
  • Live Sessions: Refund proportional to sessions attended

8. Placement Guarantee Courses

For courses with placement guarantee:

  • Refund only if placement criteria met but job not provided
  • Student must fulfill all course requirements
  • Must attend all placement interviews
  • Refund processed after placement period ends

Important

Placement guarantee is subject to students meeting all eligibility criteria and actively participating in the placement process. Refund under placement guarantee is only applicable if the institute fails to provide minimum guaranteed interview opportunities.

9. Instalment Plan Refunds

For students opting for instalment plans:

  • Refund calculated on total paid amount
  • Processing fee deducted from each instalment
  • Outstanding instalments must be cleared for refund
  • Interest charges may apply on delayed payments

10. Grievance Redressal

If you are dissatisfied with the refund decision:

  • Level 1: Branch Manager review
  • Level 2: Regional Head escalation
  • Level 3: Head Office grievance cell
  • Final: Legal recourse as per jurisdiction

11. Policy Updates

IIWD reserves the right to modify this refund policy. Students will be notified of significant changes through:

  • Website updates and notifications
  • Email communication to registered students
  • Notice board announcements at branches
  • Direct communication during admission
